Lyceum Lodge of Research meet four times a year, three regular meetings and the Installation meeting on the third Wednesday of November.

We hold three regular seminars, each presented twice a year, namely

• "Introduction To Masonry or So you Want to be a Mason?"
• "New Made Mason"
• "Masters in the Making"

Freemasonry in South Africa

Lyceum Lodge of Research is dedicated to research into Free Masonry and the education of Free Masons and other interested parties.

South Africa has a rich heritage of Freemasonry. It is one of the few places in the world where there are five active constitutions, namely:

• United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE)
• Grand Lodge of South Africa (GLSA)
• Grand Lodge of Ireland
• Grand Lodge of Scotland
• Grand Orient of the Netherlands

Lyceum Lodge falls under the United Grand Lodge of England.
